About Me

Hi there! My name is Tami and I am a 38-year-old mother of two. I am married to my high school sweetheart, who prefers to stay out of the limelight. After spending the majority of my adult life working in healthcare as a nurse, I decided to pursue my dream of running my own Shoppe and offering virtual fashion consulting.

For the past fifteen years, I have been creating tote bags, tie-dying fabrics, and designing clothing and accessories. What sets my products apart is the care I take in selecting the materials. For example, I use upcycled upholstery for my tote bags, and hand-dye fabrics in small batches, resulting in one-of-a-kind pieces. I even incorporate the inseams of jeans into my designs, using them to hold key clasps in the bags.
Continuing my upcycling, I make silk scarves, headwraps, neckties, and headbands. To make these items, I purchase secondhand silk saris and transform them into beautiful, stylish accessories.

I am particularly passionate about creating size inclusive wears, including fashion harnesses and organic fleece hand dyed rompers. Every BODY deserves the option to wear my items.

Throughout the years, I have been grateful for the support and love I have received since reopening Sugs' Shoppe. I can usually be found sewing and tie-dyeing fabrics, and I'm always happy to chat with anyone who shares my passion for unique, sustainable fashion.
